Soooooo ….. I have this habit. If you are driving around looking for a parking spot, and see me enter my car. Don't get excited..... I will probably be in the car for a moment.
Don't worry, the door is locked first (always safety) I need a moment to process, gather thoughts and plotting next move.
If I have food, I may take a sample bite or sip. In fact, I will probably motion to you to keep looking for spots or circle back around.
I call it my Post Parking Reflection Moment. Taking time to center instead of jumping back into the car and going to the next location.
This past week, I was having a post parking spot moment. But this time it was a divine delay. I looked and noticed a couple entering their car and recognized them as very special people. They opened up their heart, family and home to me when I first moved away. They were warm, welcoming and made me feel as a genuine part of the family. It impacted my life and I was flooded with how thankful I was. When my parents visited me for the holidays, they were automatically invited. When I saw them, I knew there was a reason for the delay.
I walked up to them, called out their names (because you just don’t walk up on people) and we hugged each other. And I told them we were supposed to be in the same spot at the same time. They agreed!
